How to Wire a 3-Phase Motor Contactor and Timer

Hi, I have an electrical job to be done in next 2 weeks but i need help..

I have a 3 phase motor 5.5hp, i want to control the motor in such way that;

1. When press Start button, motor run

2. Timer start counting,

3. After time is up, motor stop. (if at any moment i press Stop button, motor will stop too)

I know the contactor wiring but i don't know how to wire timer with the contactor to achieve what I wanted. And is it ON delay timer or OFF delay timer to be used?

Could you provide a sketch on the timer you have, to see what connections it have to allow "sensing" motor start?

piggy; get a timer with the same voltage as your starter coil & wire the timer motor across the contactor coil. wire the normally closed switch contacts in series with the stop button or the control power for the contractor perry

Need to know the type of timer that you are using. How it resets.

I have the contactor and timer sketch below, hope its clear enough..

i am using Taian Jaya contactor model C-16L. it has 240V coil.

i plan to use a ON delay timer, Omron H3YN-2/-21.

how to make it work as i want, or the timer selection is probably not correct?

am i just connect the NO of the timer series to motor start button, and

connect NC of the timer series to motor stop button will works?

The solution has already been stated. This is a simple control diagram using a control relay R1.
