You really should do your own homework.

This is an interesting proportioning situation. I note thAt Composition of (A) & (C)

are the same. The desired mix can be made from the combination of A &/or C with (D). Also the desired mix can be made with (B) & (D). Figure the proportions from the relation of the lumps in the first case to the lumps in the second case. For example:: L1*x + L2*(1-x)= 40, this will give the proportion (x) of the first component and

1-x is the proportion of the second component. It works out but yo'all do the math.

Hello Guest,

are you the CEO for the chocolate fireguard factory?

What industry are you in? Steel making???????????

If I understand you correctly, (and I am not sure I do)................................

You have virtually answered your own question:

4 feeds if the max is 50 tons hour, uummm, let me see, try dividing by 4.

= 12.5 tons per feeder.

Trouble is your figures are bad.

Fines = 68.75%

Lumps = 31.25%

Lumps increase Total 8.75%

Fines deduct Total 8.75%

====================

What you need to do is:

A) Lumps plus 10%.......Fines minus 10%

B) Lumps plus 20%.......Fines minus 20%

C) Lumps plus 10%.......Fines minus 10%

D) Lumps minus 5%.......Fines plus 5%

Are you asking how you should split the lumps and fines on the feeds before being ready to mix the four feeds?

I presume the feeds are ordered in as the percentages you list? If that Lump and fine mix is how you get it you have to find a way of deducting the 8.75% fines, and

==============================

I mean, I could have this totally wrong, but I do not think so.

Go away and think about it because only you know what is happening and if you can adjust the initial feed mix.

I think you are in the wrong job.
