kW is kiloWatt (1000 Watt). Note the capital "W". This is power.

kW-h is kiloWatt-hour (1000 Watt-hour). Note the hyphen between Watt and hour; this is recommended but not universally used. This is energy.

Also, solanki, 1 watt-second is 1 Joule, also a measure of energy. Therefore 1 kwh is equivalent to 1 Joule/watt-second * 3600 seconds/hour * 1000 watts/kw = 3,600,000 (3.6 x 106) Joules.

KW is the unit of electrical power Electric power is defined as the rate at which electrical energy is transferred by an electric circuit. The SI unit of power is the watt. and 1000 watts = 1 KW.

W=IV

where I=Current Folow in Circuit and V=Voltage of Circuit

Whereas

KWH is the unit of energy and

Energy = Power x Time

So if i define KWH it mean power consumed in an hour

The Watt is not only for electric powerit is a power unit for all kinds of energy forms: mechanical,thermal, a. s. o.

Depends on where you are.

We use Horse Power (HP) for mechanical power and BTUs or Therms for thermal energy here in the US; helps people to NOT confuse them with electrical power. We do use Watts when discussing heat energy however if it is coming from an electrical source.
