its about ATP/EMTP

hi..everybody

i'd like to ask about ATP/EMTP. i'm doing my final project right now with ATP/EMTP.

i don't know how to simulate voltage dips in distribution system with single line ground fault.

does anybody can help me? please...

ATP does allow you model a switch. You could specify a switch to ground in series with some resistance/impedance to model an actual fault in your network with an arbitrary step function to close it for a period of time and watch the effect propograte through your system.

I did the simulation for my master's thesis on resonant switching 15 years ago using ATP so much of that knowledge is very fuzzy at this point.
