Quick-Connect Fuel Line Fittings

12/09/2008 10:38 AM

I am looking for OE sources for quick-connect fuel line fittings. I have seen these on Ford and GM cars. Some have clips or similar means to retain the fittings; all have O-rings for sealing. My application is military heaters, running diesel & JP-8. I already know about Colder, Kent, and Staubli.

Thanks

your local auto parts store should have them in their help section... check Dorman-products....you will need a speical flare kit to make the line side the only one i know of is made by Master cool it does everything double flares bubble flares all auto quick conects it's one of my favorite kits because i do alot of rusty line repairs and it makes it so easy... but it's not cheap around 350

I have found TI Automotive Connectors- they are the people who make all those clever snap-together fittings found in modern car fuel lines. They are perfect for my needs. I need a "production" fix that I can install by the thousands. Consider this one closed.

There is an entire series of push to connect fittings available. Try Parker-Prestolok, and Legris. They are available in inch sizes and metric. Good luck.

Hello Ben Bullen:

So what are you going to use them on? You have a 'special' shop or just doing conversions all the same?

And I am glad you found what you wanted. Perhaps it will also make things easier and quicker?

Take care, and good luck....Happy holiday....................
