POLARIZATION can be defined as one side of light.ie.,the light may contain either parallel components of perpendicular components. or when a dielectric material is placed in an external electric field,dipoles will appear at any volume of it. This is known as POLARIZATION OF DIELECTRICS

Polarization is what happens when someone says that there is no such thing as anthropogenic global warming on this forum, and then everyone takes sides.
