Hi

Is this for reducing environmental noise emissions, or for personal protection?

Suggest the use of hearing protectors to protect workers from various noises. Cheap and effective.

Recommending Bose Active Noise Cancel Headsets for your ears.

Shielding Compressors: Use decoupler material 2 lbs/sq ft 0.5 inch thick. enclosure from double face Alum /polymer enclosure.

Re-directing High Inpact Noise: Use Mass Loaded Vynil layered with Styrotop BAF322.

Contact Cyber-Bridge-Marine Corp for materials and details

For Bose Headsets, go tot their website. These are a bit expensive but cheaper than loosing your hearing and the cost associated with hearing aids(is 4000$ for the expensive and $700 for the crappy ones)

Good luck
