DEAR READER,

100 MA ELCB IS RECOMMENDED IF YOU PLACE THE PROTECTING DEVICE IN THE LOCAL SWITCH BOARD - CONTROLLING LIGHTS OF SPECIFIC AREA / ROOM.

300 MA ELCB IS RECOMMENDED IF YOU PLACE THE ELCB IN MAIN LIGHTING DISTRIBUTION BOARD, CONTROLLING VARIOUS LIGHTING SWITCH BOARDS.

30 MA ELCB IS RECOMMENDED IF YOU PLACE THE ELCB AT DIRECTLY AT USER DEVICE.

THIS ARRANGEMENT SHALL AVOID NUISANCE TRIPPINGS, PROVIDING SAFETY & PROTECTION IN REASONABLE WIDE RANGE OF OPERATING CONDITIONS.

PL. NOTE THAT MAXIMUM EARTH RESISTANCE REQUIRED SHALL BE

(MA TRIP VALUE ) * 50 OHMS. FOR RELIABLE OPERATIONS.

Hi Harry! Welcome to CR4.

It's also advisable to say that the information you gave is for guidance only and the OP (Original Poster) should refer to the regulations of their governing body!
