To win the Nogaro Grand Prix Shell Eco-Marathon, a vehicle must cover at least 25 kilometers at a minimum speed of 30 kph, while using the smallest amount of fuel possible. The winner of the race, which took place on Sunday May 22nd, was the PAC-Car II; a hydrogen fuel cell powered car designed by students from ETH Zurich. It's fuel efficiency, if translated to gasoline would amount to a whopping 3836 kilometers per liter.

Just wondering when we can get gas mileage like that out of my car. I do think that 30Km is a bit slow though.
