Electrical Raceways and Substations

hi

according to me ERACEWAYS is nothing but Electrical raceways. but can anyone let me know what is RACEWAYS and how they are related to any plant.what is to be done if we were given with key plans for substation. what are the parts of substation we need to do the raceway.

please suggest me what to be done

Do you mean bus way or busduct or cable bus? Is it low voltage or meduim one?

i am new to this so i dont know about bus way or busduct or cable bus. so can u please define those terms and also if about low voltage or meduim. if possible please define me with an example.

Raceways are nothing but conduits, trunkings or trays for laying and drawing cables.

BY DEFINITION:

A RACEWAY IS AN ENCLOSED CHANNEL OF METAL OR NONMETALIC MATERIAL DESIGNED EXPRESSLY FOR HOLDING WIRES, CABLES, OR BUSBARS AND IT CAN HAVE ADDITIONAL ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS ANS PERMITTED BY CODE.
