use dilute vinegar to wash the windows. The water marks are the minerals left after the water evaporates. (Mostly calcium salts.) The vinegar reacts with this chemically (acid/base reaction) dissolving the material away. Any residual vinegar quickly evaporates away.

We had an 85 Ford F series truck that was washed almost every day The water stains that were on that truck and others that we had were terrible. We tried every product we could find. There were only two good solutions. One was having a glass company come out and polish the glass. The other method (which was cheaper) was replacing the windshield.

Duragloss part #755 is claimed to remove water spots from glass. It will work if tour deposits have not gotten too bad.

It is made by Brothers Research Corp. www.duragloss.com I hope you have better luck than I did.

BRUCE'S GLASS WATER SPOT AND STAIN REMOVER

Only $6.95 for a 10 oz Tub

A sparkling bathroom should include a clean and clear shower door. However, sometimes soap and hard water buildup makes the glass look cloudy even if you wipe it down after showers with a squeegee or towel.

Bruce's Glass Stain Remover (GSR) is a safe and effective rubbing compound that will remove even those tough stains left behind by minerals from hard water, shampoo, and soap scum. Just wipe Bruce's on with a soft cloth and watch stains disappear! Bruce's GSR can even restore shower doors that have been neglected for a long time and make them shine like new. It may be safely used on glass, aluminum, porcelain, and chrome.

Besides wiping down the shower and door after every use, we recommend using Bruce's GSR weekly to extend the life of your enclosure and make it the centerpiece of any bathroom.

Bruce's GSR has been on the market for over 25 years and is still the best glass cleaner! Bruce's GSR is great on:

  • Shower Doors
  • Auto Windshields
  • Chrome
  • Tile
  • Porcelain
  • Fireplace doors

This product is a mild abrasive. It looks like brown mud that you will rub on and wipe off. But you will just love the results! Removes the toughest stains.
