SolidWorks - Assembly Mode Hyperlink

12/18/2008 3:03 PM

Is there a way you can throw a hyperlink on the screen in the assembly mode, so that when you click or double click on that part, it directly takes you to that link?

Or maybe throw a link in the annotations?

Im using '06.

Thanks!

There are two ways to try. Without a copy of 06, I can't be sure which will work.

Insert a note. Then click to format and look for the button in Text Formatting that looks like a chain. That sets up a hyperlink.

Go to INSERT on the menu and then HYPERLINK. That creates one just on the screen.
