Can anyone tell me how to get a Master's or Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering by correspondence? I am not sure this is possible from any credible ABET school but I would like to know anyway.

Actually a MSME &MSEE is possible by remote learning. Check out Devry Univ web site. There are also other schools starting including MIT. This isn't old school correspondence but online courses. I will warn you though, they are somewhat harder than the old brick and mortar classes. I got my first two degrees (ASEE & BSEE) the old classroom way and my MBA was done online. I am now taking my MSEE online and it is fairly difficult.

Well something that is online should have some changes in order to be considered worthwhile. So online classes being more difficult would be great.

Anna University I think do offer MS course. I am not sure on which subjects. If you are interested I can provide you names since I was there to be part of the Nano MS and Ph.D. departments opening ceremony.
