arm Vs microcontroller

LPC2129 is given as an ARM7 processor in a material.. but the same has been mentioned as a microcontroller in the block diagram..

Actually what is the difference between the two.. and which has more advantages than the other

It would be better to register with CR4 than to list your email address publically. Spiders crawl such information, and the result is unwanted email. CR4 has a private messaging system that you can use. Plus, you're more likely to get an answer as a registered member.

I come across your thread, I havnt used this chip, but I can tell you that arm7 is only a processor designed by an english company, when people adds some peripharies like ram, i/o ports etc. around it, it becomes microcontroller, like your 2129.

But I find my thread posted in this column was moved away and disappeared.
