Dear Sir

I am doing cross country pipe line for 14 km to transport GAS . The pipe line used is 10" dia 20.3 mm thickness API 5L Grade X52. I want to know what type and size of welding rod to be used for root welding and other pass. I request your help in this regard.

You really do need a qualified weld procedure, not just simple advice from an internet forum, ESPECIALLY with what you are dealing with.

Please seek professional guidance in person.
