where do wind apply load on hemispherical head of vertical pressure vessel? can it be considered by assuming equivalent cylindrical shell?

where do wind apply load on hemispherical head of vertical pressure vessel? can it be considered by assuming equivalent cylindrical shell? the wind direction(force) is divided into two components ,perpendicular to the hemisphere at the point of contact, and tangential to it.the perpendicular components can be integrated to yield a force field trying to act on the hemisphere towards the center of the hemisphere from each point of contact.(this vector field can be positive or negative, taking towards center as positive) depending on the direction of wind with respect to center of hemisphere. the tangential components can be integrated again to yield a positive push on the vertical vessel due to hemisphere bluff body ,in the direction of the wind. if it is assumed as a cylindrical shell only the positive push will be evaluated, and the other component will be missed out in the calculation.
