DEAR PEOPLE Hardness is typically 200HB; ref: previous answer and why you want to control hardness. Hardness is related to the material's susceptibility to Hydrogen embrittlement, so is important if you are e.g. using the material underwater with cathodic protection. WITH THE VERY BEST OF KIND REGARDS, HARDNESS
