40-kg UAV

what mechanism that i should use as sensor or detector as my 40kg UAV is in unstable VTOL?..(such as cause of wind gust)

these sensor also is capable to send a respond to actuator as a counter of these unstable situation and make my UAV back in stable state..

im really hpe someone could help me...thanx

Accelerometers and rate sensors for all 3 axes total 6 sensors + a soft to analyse results and decide a combined optimal control of actuator.

You could look at Analog Devices (they are not the only supplier but they have all for you necessary sensors) for the sensors and at National Instruments for the soft. I have not enough data to give you a specific counsel I can only give you hints where to look for.

Check out http://www.cloudcaptech.com/. They make an inexpensive inertial sensor package and autopilot that should fit your needs. We are using the Piccolo II for a similar need.
