Various Ideas, how to sell.

I am presently going through the same issues, only the one I am working on took 10 years from idea the to sale of first unit, Which was sold to a large corportation and took 3 years after ordering to complete the installation and purchase of first unit with 2 more units on order. From idea to patent($38,000) or copyright ($$$?) is the first required major issue, as then nobody can steal your idea providing nobody has got there first for the patent or copyright claim also patent searches cost lots of money Next is finding the company interested in your product, provng your idea has value to them, which is the hardest point to sell. after all, you have done all the necessary design,testing, and proving its value (costing $$$$$) necessary to get them interested, now the company has to go thru the corportation system to have several levels of approvers (beancounters) agree to buy your idea, next is getting the $$$$ approved to buy only to be told the bussiness is in a down cycle and they won't have the budget money or time to install this idea for a couple of years which later turns into a maybe. Concept to product via safe means (patenting/copy right) is always a painful path.

Not all the seeds drooped from a tree turn to plant and only very a few of those plants grow to trees.

Nevertheless though not all, at least reasonable amount can be nurtured to grow and yield.

Out there, our guest and Donnie. H. are not alone with this agony. Many should be there.

We are different today form those isolated thinkers of yesterday. We can communicate across the world, discuss, verify, get endorsed and get recorded (?). If I say 'ABZ' today in GR4, can I substantiate that I said so first, even some one else patent it tomorrow?

In this forum we are already a society. What can be done in helping each other and help the society at large?
