Gockel Knife grinding machine dissembly

01/13/2009 5:48 AM

HI,

We have a problem with our Gockel Knife grinding machine .It is a magentic type. The job ( Knife) is held by the magentic base which is magnetized by the embedded coil.

The main shaft of the macline is deformed (bent)due to aging.Actually we would like to take out the shaft on which the magentic coil assembly is mounted. The Mech dept says that shaft can be removed only after removing the coils .We tried to remove the coil from top but it is not coming out.

Can any body tell us how to dismantle the magentic coil from the Gockel Knife grinding machine?

try this:

If they made your machine, you might be able to contact someone there who could help.
