Here's two photo's taken of the exact same thing from the exact same location.
The first, last July, 85F:

The second, this January, 12F:

Both from my front porch.
Even at my age, I'm still in awe of the adaptability and beauty of the living things around me. That in a few short months, lush, multi-colored animals and plants will return to replace this cold gray lifeless scene. Mother nature is certainly the finest engineer.
Do you have Summer, Winter photo's? If not, pull out the shoe box from under the bed, and find a beautiful summer photo. Then why not take a walk and photograph that scene in the winter. It will get you out of the house for a while, and relieve you of "Cabin Fever" at least for a short while. (For my friends down under, just do it in reverse).
