We have 1.5 MW genset ,Man made ,air started .The first start@25 bars .After many working days it took 30 bars to start ,so on building up air press. with time .We need u technical support

sea, your question is unclear.

did you mean it takes more pressure to crank the engine, for it to start?

have you performance checks, compression pressure test(fuel cut-off), etc.

1. starting valve could be leaking/sticky.

2. inlet/exhaust valve leaking/burnt.

3. same thing to piston(s), i.e.:blowpass.

4. air distributor leakage.

What kind of lubrication are you using in the Air Motor Satrter?

BudT, this is likely to be a direct air start type engine. air motor crank type engine don't normally operate at 20-30 bar...it's more likely to be 10bar max.
