Pull Force Test

Hi, I need to know what sould I use as a standard Pull Force Test for our crimp department. I see there is a a lot of different between IPC Standard and UL486A. Please I really need your help. Thanks

Choose the pull force ft/lbs, direction, and method that best matches the application of your product in the field.

It depends on what you are doing. If your products sell to various markets then use the most stringent. if you are going to a particular market then use the standard most applicable to that market.

Hello Peter,

Is it possible to tell me which of the 30 or so different gauge wire you use? It seems unlikely you will be testing more than about 6?

It would help if you can please?
