Mozilla Firefox

01/24/2009 2:17 AM

Hi, I just started using firefox again, instead of google chrome because the scroll pad didn't work with it on my laptop, and every time I try to open a video, it crashes. Any ideas on how to make it work? I can get on the youtube homepage, but all the videos wont work. Thanks

I don't know, but I think you would have a better chance getting a good answer from the Firefox support forum than here.

Can't help much either and the "Dude" is gaming. He'll know, but won't care that much because he's gaming. I am on Mozilla Firefox (as recommended by the "Dude") and it beats any thing I had before. The "Dude knows why" but he can't tell because he's gaming. Get the drift?

All the best ,Ky.

most likely ya setup is blocking this, one place to check is under, "TOOLS/ Options/Content", check to find if any of those is unclicked and needed to use ya download. Also if ya installed "No Script", the setting too will block it as well..

  1. Un-install Firefox
  2. Restart computer
  3. Re-install Firefox reading all questions B4 you_click_click_click
  4. Install VLC media player reading all questions B4 you ...you know
  5. Do yourself a favor and install and run Ccleaner then restart after all this

Use a firewall and anti-virus of some sort. AVG free works on XP and Vista at home. This may not solve your problem but it will a the very least get your PC configured better and cleaned up.

Dear Sir.

Ccleaner & Advanced Windows Care give problem to people like me using Dial-up & having "Download Helpers" like DAP & Fresh-Downloader.

Warning for Dial-up users

==================

Downloaders make Temporary files to support "Resume" for incomplete download files.

Both the cleaners also delete these files & all the downloded parts are lost.

Regards

My friend had a similiar problem with his operating system Vista it is 64 bit and U-Tube needs a 32 bit. Find a 32 bit driver and you should have fewer problems.

i think u install proper latest flash player. see if u r unable to run any videos on the you tube website , then i would suggest u to go down load latest adobe flash player then, install. And I suggest mozilla is one of the best browser , go for it. if u still facing that problem , go for mozilla forum.
