need info on pick up truck chasis

01/24/2009 9:01 AM

I was wondering if there is a source of information on pick up truck chasis.

basically, the shape, mounting hole configurations etc...

we manufacture utility boxes for pick up trucks if you check out our web site it will explain it better. www.ultimatetruckgear.com

thanks.

Nice web site, Canadian company as well, bonus.

I see you are already a member of SEMA, they have a manufacturers section with a tech transfer facility, thus access to truck chassis information.

Shameless plug time... Interested in hiring a great designer/fabricator with over 30 years of automotive modification experience? Someone who looks at a problem and only sees a challenge? Send me a PM, we can talk.

Hi Dances with trees,

you are right, I did download some IGES files and convert them into solidworks files.

however I can't use them, files too big, regen takes a long time. etc...

if I could get a hold of drawings that would be Ideal.

thanks.

Digital is all that is available, all is not lost though.

I would strongly suggest you contact Solidworks about the re-gen issues they may have a fix you are not awair of.
