Jobs and mercenaries and your fate

01/24/2009 1:17 PM

Do you ever feel that you lost the war?

We the "Free World" are occupied not by killing armies but by cheap labor armies summoned by our respective governments to un settle us and to make us pliable to their plans.

Probably be taken wrong by many but look at the results please:

Here in this bread basket of technology and un spoiled greed and consumption, people have no jobs, and the greater society is feeling the effects. The jobs, seek to the companies coming form over seas and they are doing so well they are going public. Local people are holding nothing.

To heal this world wide problem, people need to make products locally and employ local talent to earn and consume locally. GLOBAL THINK AND GLOBAL WORK only works for those who oppress and take away what is yours

How would you deal with your occupation in your country is my question?

Secondary how do you get your jobs back???

See Ya around

Sorry- I am an American ex-pat, working in a Latin American country. I see open borders as expanding opportunities, not limiting them. Dying societies are the ones that limit access. Vibrant societies are open to ideas, products and people from other places. It is tragic seeing the United States, a nation of immigrants, lose its way. Immigrants are who made it possible for the United States to briefly enjoy the status of the Greatest Nation ever to exist. Closing the borders will destroy it...

I am in full agreement. I had to pay ( DELL ) extra to insure that ,if I need to call a help line, I will be put in touch with someone in North America ( yes this includes our very good friends in Canada ). I find this ridiculous and harmful to the American ( again I am including you guys up there ) work ethic. We are basically being told that we are not needed. That a prepared response sheet, read by a person who has difficulty expressing him/her self in English ( no offence intended ) is better than we are.

And what is worse is that many employers these days seem to be more interested in hiring foreigners over our own children. This says volumes about what they think of our school systems.

There was a time, not too long ago when our elected representatives would have never allowed this to happen.

.....expressing him/her self in English ( no offence intended ) is better than we are.

I believe it more appropriate to make the judgement that they (business) are saying that they (foreign employees) are equal to but cheaper than we are.

This whole better than worse than concept creates problems for me. Goods are better than worse than. Education is better than worse than. Technology is better than worse than.

People are equal.

Bout time:

we realized it is a real war, not just a wave or a political preference. Our futures have been sold to higher bidders, n we did loose this round.

They intend to fight us and take it all if they can. So far we have done little to engage the enemy, ignorance and leaders forcing the agenda have kept us in-able to fight. Now however there is room for new playing plans our new & quite wonderful leader is making a place for us again in this society.

Please join in the new effort to renew faith in American workers and American working values.

You might be able to regret previous thoughts???

You never know

What I have observed, and here I go again, is the bean counters are in control, and unfortunately they only look at the next two quarterly reports at best. The Japanese have chosen to look up to 10 years down the road and because of that insight have managed to hold their own, if not lead, very well. Until the CEO, CFO, C-whatever start to look at the continental health of their perspective customers nothing is going to change. They just don't seem to get it that continued 'build it cheaper' overseas and sell to people who are forced into service industries has to eventual come to an end. A one point everyone is 'serving' and cannot afford those products.

Take the US economy for an example if you will. Virtually nothing is manufactured in the US any longer, some very few things are, but not at any rate to make any difference to the big picture. A rather obvious example is the automotive industry, of the big three the vehicle that sell well are joint ventures between the big three and Toyota, Nissan, etc. The only vehicle to buck this trend if the Ford pickup, but then again the sales of a singe model is hardly enough to keep the company afloat.

The solution? If I knew I would gladly share, if I could get anyone to listen, which is another big problem in the industrialized world. I have found that ideas are dismissed out of hand by corporations. Try and get the ear of someone at any medium to large company or even speak to an elected government official. The story line is the same in every case, 'they are busy doing important stuff and cannot speak on the phone at this time, your input is important to us, etc'. The response to the submitted idea is also always the same; thanks, now pi$$ off.

Truly a very complicated issue, those at the top 'knowing' how to run the company and continuously being shortsighted having the idea they must satisfy the investor in the short term. Isolation from those who might actually have solutions to their challenges. what seems to be an endless supply of third world uneducated and impoverished labor. Ever see the Mexican field workers?

I seem to be rambeling so I think I will call it quits for now....

Yeah I'm sorry for be an American to. Now that I know the truth behind America, it all makes sense. I always wondered "If America is such a great nation, why do the majority of people in other country's think were scum?" Now that I know the Truth about our government, I understand why there's 8 year olds with AK-47's in other places willing to fight America till the end.

But what choice do we have, people will never trust or probably like another American. America is all ready dead, I mean have you noticed how fucking stupid people are here. It's like: "Oh shit were in great danger." Then they want you to prove it and we all know we cannot do it in the 5 minutes they have to listen before American Idol is on.

I mean in 2008 I got a reality check on the true state of technology, Found out about our "government" and our "Free world". Finally something is happening, Tried to inform my people on CERN's LHC and counter parts, as they just pretended to listen because American Idol or some shits on. I'm just like: "HELLO???? Humans recreated the big-bang." I know for a fact I would much Much rather Idolize The greatest Physical Scientist then some dumb ass who's dream is to be the winner on American Idol.

I mean my dream was always to find god if not make myself one. God was the Creator of the Universe, right? Didn't we do that in 2008 to some degree? Yet people rather still believe Jesus. In Astrology the Sun represents our Identity, then some one, some how put the Identity of a slave (Jesus) in-front of our Sun. Isn't that Exactly what man-kind has turned out to be, slaves of the Monetary system?

Another thing that pisses me off is that every one just assumes a stupid because I'm a drop-out. They keep telling "I got to get my ass back in school and get my GED!" Why I think that's so fucked up is because I've been in Helicopter School the past Year and Half. I don't need a GED or the other because you don't learn a damn thing about the most advanced Aerodynamics in High-School.

I think a lot of the older generations have electromagnetic waves screwing up their head. Or maybe I should stop studying FAA-H-8083-21 and High-Dimensional Geometry and go back to Pre School so I can be as stupid as literally every one I know. Glad I found ieee, maybe they have just the right place for me.

perhaps you view your place in society as secure

not all people are in that position, and very few were supported by the last administration. the perfidity of the us gov is well established in documentation all over the globe. there is no reason at all to take offense in documented facts. these lead to conclusions that we could do much better for ourselves if they were not involved. in this matter at hand, we have been sold out. and now many many are loosing all that they have to the banks. realizing the problem, one of many is part of the methods of putting the country back together.

if the jobs bleeding out to other countries is not stopped, the money to rebuild us will be gone. there is no escaping the fact that money must be made by us citizens for the us to succeed. to not agree is to be a traitor and not a citizen of this country.

AND

the sins of the past administration just might cover many more things than you have mentioned. to poke fun at, and to make fun of things they are doing is to misdirect proper attention from the truth. is there not facts that express this quite clearly?

Jobs for us is what we need to make our society work. jobs for other countries make their society work better than ours. why not use our jobs here to make our society work??

Supply and demand....

How do you get your job back? Do it better than anyone else and at a price point that sells, and pick a profession that is in demand. Call center jobs will go to India because they meet that criteria. Car manufacturing is in Japan and Korea because they meet that criteria. The capital of the oil business is in Houston Texas, because they meet that criteria. If your skills are not in demand where you live, then move. That is the secret to a global economy.

In any event I would also suggest that you travel a bit. People have no jobs in the US? Are they living in shacks with no running water and no electricity on the edge of a landfill? That is pretty common in much of the world. I know when I lived in Houston, even the worst parts of town just about everyone had TV and air-conditioning and some kind of ride. Flying into the Manila airport in the Philippines last week I was amazed at the number of people living in shacks on the end of the runway.

The world gets a bit upset with us Americans because we have so incredibly much and we still have the audacity to be such whiners. Why not use that independent American spirit and do something to create value, then you will always have a job and you won't have to worry about it.

What is scary is the number of people in the West that really do nothing to add value to what ever enterprise they are part of and then are surprised when they are laid off.....

But then I suppose, I am just a mercenary....
