I am looking for a tool to bevel 2" and 2.5" cpvc quickly and easily. Does anyone know of such a tool?

How about making a large pencil sharpener out of wood? Or use a file!

I am the guest that posted the question.

The only problem with those is they are neither quick or easy. I have been building CPVC assemblies for a few months now and had a leaker a couple weeks ago. After consulting with my cement supplier they told me a beveled edge makes for a much better joint. This is in a productin setting it is not high volume but high enough I don't want to totally do it by hand.

"consulting with my cement supplier they told me a beveled edge makes for a much better joint"

Before jumping in and bevelling every piece of CPVC, have you proven the cement supplier suggestion that a bevel will improve the joint ?

Ridgid makes these.

For deburring the outside of plastic pipe sizes up to 4 inches. they may do the inside too.

That is if the dimension 2" and 2 1/2" is in reference to pipe. Just like a big pencil sharpener.

I do a fair bit of work with copper pipe and use a tool similar to that for deburring the OD and the ID! I tried it on PVC pipe but it was not sharp enough! The ones shown by Ozzy may be OK though! If the pipes are not too long, how about trying linishing belt!
