what is dual layer DVD? how to write Dual layer DVD?
does it require to have DVD of double capacity than capacity of single DVD?
what is the requirement for this?

A dual layer DVD is simply a dvd with two layers of material. They are exactly the same as normal DVDs, they are normal dvds
Dual layer DVD format would required a dual layer DVD (Disk) and a dual layer DVD-drive, to be able to burn 8.5 Giga-Bytes of data.
Both disk and drive are compatible with DVD and CDR formats, but not vice-versa
