It would be helpful if you provided some information about where you live. The requirements for certification to "TS16949", whatever that is, would be different in the USSR and Bolivia, if either country recognized it.

Questions prefaced with "I want", I need", "I have to have this by tomorrow", and one line questions are not likely to recieve much consideration. After all we are not getting paid to do this. I suspect that a good number of askers of questions are doing it on company time, thought.

The Lead Auditor to ISO/TS16949 - I am not sure any organisation is offerring the Lead Auditor Course in India.

The internal Auditor Course is offerred by quite a few organisations.

However before you enrole in the organisation, you must be sure that the training/ certifying body is one which is recognised.

Quite a lot (more common than not) will provide you a training and then you will find out the certificate is not even worth the paper on which it is printed (it goes even for the ISO 9000 certificates).

In-fact, forget about the training certificates, we have come across companies that were ISO 9001 certified by XYZ - and when we investigated, it was known that the certifying body is not recognised.

As an auditor, you must make sure that your certificate is not only nationally recognised but also to the market that you are going to cater.

I can only advise you to find

a) BIS - they are as on now the apex in country- but I don't think they carry out ISO/TS16949 training

b) Find from FICCI it is now having tie-up wih ASQ- whether the ASQ-CQA progtam is valid for the ISO/TS 16949 or any specific program they are conducting.

c) The program is recognised by IATF or not.

PS: ISO/TS 16949 is a variant of the QMS ISO 9001 series for automotive sector.
