The bus bar size calculation depends on regular maximum load , short circuit withstand capacity and arching withstand capacity. Unlike cable there is no standard de rating factor. The ambient temperature, and humidity is a consideration for de rating .Weather the busbars are bare or insulated is another consideration for deciding factor of flash over possibility. The orientation of bus bar and use of single or multiple bus bar is another rating factor.
