Water Pumps and Sewage Pumps for Residential Use

02/10/2009 2:44 AM

Pl. guide in selection of pumps in terms of capacity & head for water which is to be pumped from the under ground tank to over head tank which is approximately at a height of 30 ft.Further, sewage pump from septic tank whose volume is 6 cum which is around 4 to 5 ft below the ground (top of the slab) for which type, capacity & head to be considered.Similarly rain water sump pumps in terms of capacity & head.Though the question may sound simple but would like to know the norms , if existing to avoid problems at a later date.As an option it is also being considered to have hydro-pnematic auto pump for the shower rooms 3 nos.and toilets-7 nos.Invite suggestion from the experts.Residents no. may be around 10 members.

Hi there,

From the way you "see" the project to the way you "talk" about it, you have shouted to all that it is not your field.

Pls. re-read comment #1 and act wisely.

Good luck.

Yes you can but first you need to read on your own and then come up with questions on various data to to help you. not a vague question that does not give us anything to go about in the selection of your pump.

My Dear Pokalasrao,

Pls. do not feel too personal about some of our responses. Thy're not meant to be. We can assist with the little we know, but you have to first help us understand what you understand and what you did not.

If you give specific issues that you want to work-out, while explaining your challenges, more analytical/custom responses will be expected.

I'm sure the Gurus are waiting on the wings.

It will be beneficial for us all to ResearchGoogle our individual challenges first..... one would be surprised how much info abound and waiting to be tapped.

Check the following links, it may be worth:

My Regards,
