Why is the Downstream Part of the Ejector Cold?

02/12/2009 6:52 AM

During using of Ejector- at the steam inlet point (from steam inlet to convergent section) temperature is around 150 Deg (for 5 kg/cm2,Abs) but as steam move from convergent to Divergent portion Temperature goes down up to 30 to 0 deg tantative.

What should be the reason please clear it
