Bolt stripping torque values

Can anyone tell me what the strip value is for a 8mm bolt in 5mm thick bronze?

Depends on bolt and bronze mechanical properties. Can be either one or the other and at different values. Give the data and you will get the value.

Try boltcalc - I think it is now available in a new avatar from www.boltscience.com

it provides the stripping strength etc- provided you know the mech properties.
