Fuel Injector Cleanings

Hi,

What do you guys think about the injector cleaning option that quick lube places offer?

Save your money! Two people I know of had there injectors cleaned with the IV bottle setup. Both had problems with there O2 sensors and had to have them replaced. Get yourself the kind you put in your tank and use for about 5 fillups.

I agree with the first post. Use a treatment every 100-200 gallons of fuel. If you have gone too far, and suspect the injectors need a heavy cleaning, use a heavier dose in the fuel tank.

If you still feel that you must pay someone to clean your injectors, send me the money, I will do the same thing over the phone or online. (Send me cash only. I don't want to think about the scam artists out there.)

add 1/4 of transmission oil to your gas tank The detergents aditives of the transmission fluid will clean your injectors
