Nonsensical question.
is it a piece of wire, or a silo of 15m radius?

Del, is the m "meters" or "miles"? How would we know?

Original poster, in order to calculate volume, we need three dimensions, and you've only given us two, and dang if one of them isn't in ambiguous units.

A 30m wide circle with a thickness of 250 microns. <hmmmm>

Not a hell of a lot of paint.

I am going to say 0.01 litres (+/- 0.01 litres).

How are you ensuring a constant thickness of 250 microns across such a wide area, even a small variation in thickness is going to change the amount of paint required.

For a more useful answer try converting microns to m and then calculating yourself (hint - its the area of a tube with a very small height).

I assume you are asking for a conversion from a liquid to a solid, in a manner of speaking.

The resulting solid film will not be the same thickness as the "as applied" film.

So, if you want to end up with a 250m film, you'll have to thin it, before you apply it which adds volume.

Maybe this has already been considered.

Besides the calculation of the volume, I would be worry about how many gallons of paint you have to buy to get that thickness, I mean dried thickness.

Volume of paint = Volume of Radius w/desired thickness + loss of paint (it depends on what kind of paint you are applying )

Without knowing the area to be coated, not even the paint manufacturer can advise on this one!
