hello guest, please sign in,

1- dynamo

2- 3ph transformer with differential relay compensation

3- GOOGLE

this is the best I can come up with. Maybe more info on how you came up with the term? Or is this a school question?

It's commonly called a gay transformer.

Just because a transformer happens to be wound differently than most doesn't make it any less able to output voltage. Too often such transformers are isolated by old misguided standards. Bobbin in and out of accepted norms but never able to bridge the gap to their core, living always in flux. Sadly, all too often their laminations go unheard.

I hope others enjoyed your puns/malapropisms as much as I, and I generally hate puns.
