Umar, If you put in "welding" or "welding steel" in the box over there labelled====>

"Search all of CR4" (just above the CR4 sections Label) then hit "Go" You will get 10 pages of relevant answers to your query.

After reading those if you come back to us with a specific question we'll be happy to respond.

It woul be good to have all the information you want in the same book. We really appreciate if you can be more clear in your questions. Oil and petro industries have a level of complexity and those are serious bussiness.

What kind of equipment you are fabricating? COKERS,HEATERS,SCR,AIG,PIPELINES,TUBINGS,STRUCTURE,DUCTS,TAKE OFF DUCTS, REACTORS, BOILERS,REBOILERS,

What kind of oil or gas are processing at your plant?

HEAVY OIL, SAND OIL, LPG ...?

There is a CODE API that regulates all related to PETROCHEMICAL industry. But there are additional codes working together like ASME V ,ASME VIII, AWS D1.1

At least you need a CWI or CWB engineer or some consultant related to welding techniques.

Simply do a Google search for the properties of the materials required to be welded! Many petrochemical companies have strict standards to be achieved during welding and the qualifications and experience of the individual doing it. Those that don't have fires and explosions...
