Do you get that message when you run start.exe directly form E:, or when the auto-install runs?

Does the auto thing (insert CD & wait) do anything?

Can you open any of the files in the root of E: with notepad (use drag'n'drop on each in turn) to glean anything useful?

Does "E:\start /?" or "E:\start /help" do any good?

No, the autostart does not do anything. I know I can open the start link into notepad, but as to going into all the other folders, I haven't tried
