VSD Components for DC Speed Control

Not very many,the enclosures maybe,what kind of DC motor/ size ?

if it use system like this :

3ph AC input ---------rectifier---------inverter-------Variable Freq AC Output

you can use its reqtifier, but you must pay attention or do some modification to :

- Maksimal Capacity of the Rectifier ( if arround 25 KVA, then its enough for 25HP DC Motor)

- its microcontroller programming (if use PWM)

- to the range of rated output of the rectifier (motor DC controlled by changing the voltage, motor AC controlled by changing the frequency). is it equal/matching to rated output of motor.

- motor connection (is it supply given to armature or its excitation)
