Matl Composition of SA 516 Gr.70 comply with NACE requirement.

Dear All Member,

Could anyone tell me what is matl composition for SA 516 Gr.70 comply with NACE requirement. I only know that carbon content shall be less than 0.20%. other content like Manganese, Phosporous & etc. i don't know.

Expected anyone tell me.

Are you referring to NACE MR0175/ISO 15156?

I don't understand your question. You can get 516-70 to MR0176/ISO15156, for example:

Please find requirements here follows,

SA-516 Gr.70 Material contents are:

Carbon 0.27 - 0.31%
Manganese 0.79 - 1.3%
Phosphorous 0.035% max
Sulphur 0.035% max
Silicon 0.13 - 0.45%
