Pressure vessel head is fabricated by pressing the plates under the hydraullic press. In this method at some place thickness is reduced and at some place thickness is increased.This thickness reduction process is termed as thinning of head during forming............So i want to find out the governing parameters and some formula to predict the thinning............

I don't think you will find an accurate equation - most manufacturers/fabricators have their own tables according to their operations.
