	What's the advantage of using 500kv against 275 kv or 132kv?

	Dear sir, Transmitting supply at higher Voltages .... 1. First obious advantage is higher power being transmitted with lowest I2R losses in the transmission lines. 2. Better voltage regulation as volt drops in the transmission lines are reduced. 3. Weight of conductor required is less - reducing the cost of conductor. __________________ Exploring the Science of Electricity
