All people were set up with above ground tanks and disconnected from the underground. I can not tell you what needed to be done to convert the appliances from natural gas to propane, but I believe it is only a matter of changing a restrictor in the inlet. Tanked natural gas could be sent to users until underground repairs are made.

every thing you say is right but who pays. when i started this i thought i can answer the ? what has happened is the answers are harder for me to spell all the words but i will try . liveing florida i lived there for a time. the storm damages you get as it happens there is nothing that can be done houses, hotels,city, water flows gas lines flows till some one can shut them down. all is not safe no mater what you hear things happen thats why we are still here. spot ps how long will it take to replace what you lost?
