analytical instrumentation engineer

hi ,

currently iam working as service engineer for ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS .i have So much intrest in analytical instrumentation .Right now iam thinking if i can learn ANALYTICAL TECHNICS like chromatography ,masspectrometer,XRD those are use full and suitable to my carrier or only learning the SERVICE TECHNICS which one is suitable . iam B.TECH (INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER) thaks for u replies

Use of chromatography, masspectrometry and XRD are the province of the advanced bench chemist.

Servicing is a function of the contracts these people place with a specialised employer.

There will always be a need for both parties.
