Cool Video: Fordson Snow Motor

Have any of you seen something like this? Its about a 10 minute video, but you only need to watch the first 30 seconds to catch the idea.

That is pretty cool. I was going to watch just 30 secs but watched the whole thing twice. Can't find much on Fordson Snow Motor. there's lots of info about fordson tractors available though.

there was a long thread a few weeks ago on the same subject matter, swamp-mobile, which included several "screw drives". I remember a russian development reported in New Scientist which was back in the '70s but this obviously predates that by a long way.

Where can i get a conversion kit for my Mitsubishi 4x4?

On second thoughts don't bother, I get 1 day of snow every 4 years!.......but i would like to see a modern conversion!
