	Just simple plain question, if you change the rotation would you change the polarity?

	guest; maybe. you may have change the compound winding, if it is a permanent magnet generator it would change polarity. perry

	Just a food for thought for guest. If the polarity of a DC Motor is changed does it rotate in reverse direction ? DC generator also works like a motor only, only the emf is greater than the line voltage so it supplies power.
