What is the exact function of an RMU ? How many outgoings are there in an RMU?

actually the RMU taht I am talking about is the RING MAIN UNIT in the case of a transformer

Radio Monitoring Unit? Outings would depend on manufacturer.

RMU means Ring Main Units.

this will have loop in and loop out brakers or isolators.This can have any number of out goings.

Practically we have installed with 4/5 outgoings from each of RMUs.
