This depends on your Business Requirement. Uses of DATA FLOW in your company. Main some most important think when you brought a router:-

1- Routing Technologies

2- VPN

3- ACl's.

4- Warranties

5- Cost and Budget

6- Support provided by Vender.

Thanks,

DON'T GO WIRELESS
please...just don't...no, stop it...
Step away from the wireless router.

But if you do...
Post your question;
'how do I get it to work reliably over any range greater than 5yards when there is a wall there'
here, as we all like a good laugh.

It would be helpful to know more details about your requirements. Such as:

  • Are you building a new network, or upgrading existing system?
  • Describe your server hardware and software.
  • Is the physical wiring (network cables) already installed?

Maybe You can stretch to delegate this subject and ask if someone of your 35 employees have a clue?

If you are the same unregistered Guest who asked about internal access to the company website, I gotta tell you; you are making me real nervous for you.

We are up to I don't know how to network, and I don't know how to connect - I presume you don't know anything then about security?

You are about to expose all of your desktops to the predatory web, and all the folks with less than good intentions.

A network specialist will consult with you for an afternoon for cheap bucks, and may save your companies data. And any data your users have on their desks.

Get the boss to break loose $500, consult with a specialist, get a network map and shopping list from him or her. Then bring them back in to set up security once the components are installed.

Just in your interest, my best advice.

Well, I do them by mail order. Got a brand new one here. Just fell off the back of a Space Shuttle. <Splutter>
