Dear Member

i have a 110vac ups supply to my dcs and plc system.this is a floating supply and the voltage across phase and earth was 48 volts. after 3 months when I again measured as a part of preventive maintenance it was 3 volts. how this change can occur. will it affect the output current of the said ups.

Your supply might not be floating any longer. If one leg has found an earth point, you will certainly know it when a second leg finds earth. CJM
