I like Pencil&paper 1.0 also, but ESA Easypower 8 is about the best program I've used for large systems. I use it for short circuit, arc flash and relay coordination on exsisting systems. It has great auto design features and comes with the largest equipment data base. Like similar packages, you can purchase only the functions you are planning to use.

Is Easypower suitable for Low voltage ? I think these type o software, like ESA eysapower, EDSA, ETAP etc are only for HV and DV transmission systems.

I m interested in buying such a software but for installations of commercial buildings. Thus I m interested in low voltage dynamic simulation. Also It would be perfect if these programs includes libraries with circuit breakers from companies like ABB, SIEMENS, GE, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, etc.

Is anybody here witch such an experience ?

Thank you

George

EcoDial from Schneider is free (to professionals) if this is important. Bit tricky to use.

ABB Docwin is laos free to professionals, but seems harder to get.
